The Generator Interlock Kit K-7210 is a reliable and practical solution for safely connecting a portable generator to your home's electrical panel. Designed as a manual transfer switch alternative, this kit provides safe backfeed control, preventing dangerous power from feeding back into utility lines. Built from heavy-duty steel, it offers durability and long-lasting performance. This kit is specifically designed for CH electrical panels featuring a 100-amp main breaker with horizontal (left-right) toggle action, a 1/2" space between breaker columns, and a 1/2" gap between the main breaker and the columns below. The main breaker must be centered over the breaker columns, and installation requires a two-pole generator breaker placed in spaces 1 and 3 (the top two spaces in the left column). Made in the USA and patent pending, this kit has been tested for use with UL 67 panelboards. Complete installation instructions are included, making setup straightforward for qualified electricians. Each package contains 1 unit with all necessary hardware.
